IBS research centre

IBS International Business School Ljubljana is registered as Slovenian research organization No. 2971. The Research Center performs research projects whose results or partial results are entered also in the study programme.

Since September 2012 till the end of February 2013 IBS performed the project International business in foreign and domestic practice (the project is partly financed by European Union from the European Social Fund) which brought to IBS a number of foreign and domestic top-level lecturers and professionals who work for well-known universities, research organizations, firms, government and are members of international associations and editors of international scientific journals. IBS Ljubljana intends to continue with its research projects in the field of its study programme also in the future. In this way it will introduce the results of the scientific and research work in education and practice and thus ensure development of the society. The scientific and research work of IBS is performed in accordance with its strategic plan, with national and European trends and standards.

Students of IBS are included in the scientific and research work within IBS or in the partners' research and university institutions, in organizations of the economic and non-economic sectors. IBS students are introduced in the research work by professors of IBS who deal with scientific and research problems within their subject areas; and by professors of partners' research institutions.

The students are encouraged to participate in conferences and publish articles in domestic and international magazines.

IBS is a member of the UN Global Compact and thus connected with numerous institutions and enterprises in Slovenia and abroad who strive to incorporate the principles of sustainable development and can include students in numerous projects.

Since 2009 IBS has been publishing its e-magazine IBS Newsletter that publishes scientific, research and professional articles.
